The Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Launched in April 2009, The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
CQC incorporates the work formerly done by Commission for Socal Care Inspection (CSCI), The Social Services Inspectorate (SSI), SSI/Audit Commission Joint Review Team and The National Care Standards Commission (NCSC).
